This adventure provides an authentic Old West ranch experience with a covered wagon ride to the chuck wagon camp for a hearty, cowboy-style meal. Enjoy mouth-watering steak, cowboy beans, fruit, Pappy's famous fry bread, and juice with all the fixin’s. After dinner, gather around the campfire for a cowboy concert of old western music played on harmonica and guitar. Enjoy a good ole’ game of horseshoes before heading back on the covered wagon.

As the exclusive provider of scenic boat and eco-tours in the Bighorn Canyon National Recreation Area, we are 60 miles east of Cody, Wyo., and 90 miles south of Billings, MT along U.S. Hwy 14A on Wyoming Hwy 37. Visitors will encounter the history, geology and flora and fauna of the region and often see Bighorn Sheep and wild horses that populate the area.
Our daily (Memorial Day weekend through Labor Day) 2-hour tours originate from Horseshoe Bend Marina. Other dates and times are available for large groups through September 30th.

Enjoy the best of the West from horseback by riding back to 1910 and relaxing in the comforts of 2010. Just 20 minutes east of the Wingate Resort, our guides and wranglers will adjust your western saddle and stirrups to meet your comfort level before heading down the trail. Based on riding experience, we have three different areas for our guests to ride before stopping at the chuck wagon camp for water and restroom breaks.

With their long-ragged manes and harems, the wild Great Stallions reside within the thousand acres of Montana's Pryor Mountains. Watch these majestic creatures roam free and later explore a genuine ice cave, while learning the mystical stories and grandeur of the Pryor Mountains. Travel across the Crow Indian Reservation and see historical Indian and legendary mountain men sites. The 4x4 trail gets adventurously rough as we enter the Wild Horse Refuge.
Trail Rating 3-4 June to September Full-day tour (10 to 12 hours) departs at 8 a.m. Lunch, snacks & beverages included. Stops include wildlife and scenic photo opportunities.

This two-hour western adventure includes a horseback ride to the chuck wagon camp for a hearty dinner, served up cowboy style. Enjoy cowboy beans, fruit, steak, Pappy's fry bread, and juice with all the fixin’s. After dinner, gather around the campfire for a cowboy concert, featuring old western music played on harmonica and guitar. If time permits, enjoy a game of horseshoes along the outer banks of the Pryor Creek stream.

This full-day adventure features Montana’s Big Sky Country from Custer’s Battlefield to Pappy’s Cowboy Cookout. Guests will be picked up at their hotel and given a quick overview of the day while overlooking Billings – Montana’s Trailhead – from atop the Rimrocks. Then it’s off to Pompeys Pillar National Monument, and to former on-site movie locations, where Lonesome Dove and Far & Away were filmed; before visiting the Little Bighorn Battlefield. If time permits, guests can visit the museum before a relaxing evening at Pappy’s Cowboy Cookout. This adventure features an authentic covered wagon ride, with a bona fide cowboy dinner and concert around the campfire. If time permits, outdoor activities can include horseshoes, roping and a hat-forming demonstration. This day adventure also includes a sack lunch and dinner.
